'Historical Consultants'
What does it mean?
The 'Historical Consultants' included in the tabulae directory are not, as the name will suggest, entertainers or costumed interpreters. They do however, offer professional consultancy services to the heritage industry.
They often provide not only advice and lectures to suit your needs but also supply original and replica artefacts for your displays and collections.

The artists/performers that have the 'Historical Consultants' badge on
their page, can be relied upon to act professionally and give an
excellent standard of service, just like all of our accreditees, however they
do not necessarily portray the historic time period in an 'authentic' manner (ie living history portrayals) but may present their lectures in either modern or period dress, depending on which is appropriate for the event.
